Abbey Falls

Abbey Falls, also known as Abbi Falls, is located around 10 kilometres away from the town of Madikeri. River Kaveri drops for about 70 ft over wide rocks creating a spectacular view. A hanging bridge is available to enjoy the view of Abbey waterfalls.

Golden Temple

At a distance of 34 km from Madikeri, the Golden Temple or Namdroling Monastery is a beautiful Buddhist Monastery situated in Bylakuppe. It is an excellent examples of Tibetan architecture and artwork, as seen with the elaborately decorated temple tower and ornate outer walls.

Madikeri Fort

Tadiandamol or Thadiyandamol is the highest mountain of Kodagu district. With a height of approximately 1746 meters above sea level. It is the third highest peak in Karnataka. The peak presents amazing opportunities for trekking lovers.

Talacauvery

Talakaveri or Talacauvery is the place that is generally considered to be the source of the river Kaveri. Located in the Brahmagiri hill which is at a distance of 8 km from Bhagamandala and 44 km from Madikeri. At Talacauvery, there is a square tank called Cauvery Kundike or Brahma Kundike, which is considered to be the birth place of River Cauvery.
